The raw material of the sisal blanket is sisal, also known as pineapple grass. It belongs to the genus Agave of the family Agavaceae and is a perennial herb. Its origin is Mexico. Currently, it is mainly distributed in Africa, Latin America, Asia, etc. In China, it is cultivated in southern China and southwestern provinces. Among them, the sisal fibers in the planting area of Tanzania have better quality, with a length generally ranging from 70 to 120 centimeters, and both the strength and durability are excellent. 

Functional features

Constant temperature: The structure of sisal fibers contains tiny pores that can store air. When heated, they release heat rapidly; when cooled, they retain heat and reduce heat conduction. This enables a certain degree of temperature regulation. 

Moisture Absorption: Sisal has extremely strong moisture absorption capacity. It can maintain the balance of air humidity and follows the 10% humidity retention principle. After absorbing moisture, it can quickly release moisture when the humidity is high, always remaining in a dry state. 

Toner: It has excellent moisture-absorbing properties. It can absorb the sweat and moisture emitted by the human body and quickly release them into the air, helping the skin remain dry and comfortable. 

Breathability: The sisal fibers are composed of many slender fiber bundles, and there are tiny gaps between the bundles, which facilitate air circulation. It is called "breathable natural fiber" and can help reduce heat and pore blockage on the human skin, maintaining a healthy skin condition. 

Absorption and Adsorption: The fibrous structure of the sisal blanket can effectively absorb odors and dirt from the surrounding environment. It can also adsorb tiny particles such as dust, bacteria, and mold in the air, and prevent them from being released back into the air again. 

Durability

The sisal fiber has a tough texture, high strength, and is resistant to wear, salt and alkali, and corrosion. When made into sisal blankets, they are less likely to deform or wear out, and are less affected by harsh environments, thus being very durable. 

Environmental protection features 

Sisal is a perennial herbaceous plant. During its growth process, it does not require excessive pesticides and fertilizers, and after harvesting, it can naturally decompose without causing any burden to the environment. High-quality sisal mats mostly adopt physical processing techniques, using little or no chemical adhesives such as formaldehyde or coloring agents. This can reduce indoor odors and the release of harmful substances, aligning with the concept of "green home".

The sisal carpet has an inherent raw and simple texture. Its surface has fine and three-dimensional patterns, and the colors are mainly neutral tones such as off-white, light brown, and natural colors.
